Apple Pie Smoothie
Filled with 7 nutritious ingredients – apple, banana, oats, hemp seeds, spices, almond milk and even cauliflower, this smoothie is a tasty treat for your toddler or kid.

Age: 9+ months (under 1 omit the honey)
Ingredients
- 1 apple
- 1 ripe banana, fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup dry old-fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup cauliflower, frozen
- 1 tsp hemp seeds
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch cloves
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 cup milk of choice (regular, almond, soy, coconut, etc)
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1-2 tbsp honey (optional)
Instructions

In a blender, place all of the ingredients.

Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes, adding more milk if the smoothie becomes too thick.

Pour and serve.
Notes
Age: 9 months and up (for babies under 1 year of age, omit the honey)
Yield: 2 large kid-size smoothies
Notes on Apple: you can use any variety of sweet apples you prefer. Feel free to peel the apples or you can leave them unpeeled though you will have flecks of peel in the smoothie, which our kids don’t even notice.
