Berry Granola Frozen Yogurt Bark

Berry Granola Yogurt Bark – is perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert for your toddler or kids. Made with 4 simple ingredients – yogurt, mixed berries, honey, and granola. Plus, it only takes 5 minutes to make a batch of this healthy sweet treat that kids love!

Nutritional Information

Yogurt has so many benefits. Since it’s recommended that children age 1 and up get 2 servings of dairy a day, yogurt is a great way to meet that.

  • It is a great source of calcium, which is needed for healthy bones and teeth
  • Contains probiotics for a healthy gut
  • Whole milk yogurt has fats needed for baby’s brain development
  • A good source of protein for growth and development

Berry Granola Frozen Yogurt Bark

Freeze Time:
 4 hours
Servings: 16 servings
Age: 12+ months

Ingredients

  • 3 cups mixed berries, fresh or frozen, separated
  • 2 cups plain yogurt (see notes)
  • 2-3 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup granola

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. You can use a 9×9 baking dish, a 9×13 baking dish, or a 13×18 baking sheet, depending on how thick you want your bark.
  2. In a blender, add in 2 cups of the berries, yogurt, and honey and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the yogurt onto the baking sheet and spread with a knife or spatula until you have a smooth layer.
  4. Sprinkle on the remaining chopped berries and granola. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
  5. Take the baking sheet out of the fridge and break the yogurt bark into chunks with your hands.
  6. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Age: 1 year and up

Yield: roughly 16 pieces of bark

Storage: store in an air-tight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.

Yogurt Notes: you can use Greek or regular plain yogurt for these recipes. Since Greek yogurt tends to be more tart, I would recommend you add a little more honey to sweeten it. You can also use vanilla or honey-flavored yogurt, which has more added sugar, so I would omit the honey from the recipe.

Berry Notes: you can use any mixed berries you prefer – fresh or frozen. I used frozen berries for the yogurt mixture and chopped fresh berries for the topping. But you can easily use whichever version you have on hand.
