Broccoli Cauliflower Puree

This Broccoli Cauliflower puree is made in 15 Minutes and is loaded with essential nutrients for a growing baby!

Broccoli Cauliflower Puree

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1/2 clove garlic (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 inches of water to a boil. In a steamer basket, place the broccoli and cauliflower, and steam for 8-10 minutes or until fork tender. Reserved steamer water. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Place the cooked broccoli, cauliflower, and garlic (if using) into a blender or food processor and puree for 1-2 minutes or until completely smooth. If the puree is too thick, add in 1/4 of a cup of the reserved water in at a time.
  3. Serve and enjoy! 

Notes 

Age: 7+ months

Yield: 15 ounces

Storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 4 months.
