Lemon Asparagus Pasta
This simple and delicious Lemon Asparagus Pasta dish is the perfect meal for the entire family. It's great for a stage 3 chunky puree, as a finger food for 9 months and up, a toddler meal, and even for adults!

Lemon Asparagus Pasta

Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta of choice
- 4 oz asparagus, trimmed and chopped into 2-3" long pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup whole milk ricotta
- 2 tbsp lemon juice, fresh
- 1-2 tbsp lemon zest
- salt and pepper (optional)
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil and cook pasta according to the directions on the box. When you have 5 minutes left on your cooking time, add in your asparagus. Drain.
- In the same saucepan, over low heat, add in the oil or butter and garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add in the ricotta, lemon juice and zest and stir. Add in the pasta and asparagus and mix until incorporated.
- Serve and enjoy

Age: 6+ months
Yield: 6 portions
Storage: you can store this in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Stage 3 Puree: for a true Stage 3 puree, pulse the pasta and asparagus in a food processor until the pasta is broken up into small 'pea-size' pieces.
