Mango Overnight Oats

These Mango Overnight Oats are a quick and easy breakfast for you and your little one! Great to prep on the weekend and serve all week long.

  • High in vitamin C for immunity and aiding in iron absorption 
  • They also contain potassium, magnesium and copper, which have anti-inflammatory properties and help boost immunity

Mango Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned (rolled) oats
  • 1 1/2 cups milk - regular or a plain plant-based
  • 1/4 tsp chia or hemp seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup finely chopped mango, fresh or thawed if using frozen
 

Instructions

  1. In an air-tight container, place all of the ingredients. Secure on the lid and shake until all of the ingredients are incorporated. 
  2. Place the container in the fridge and let chill for 8-12 hours or overnight. 
  3. Spoon out a portion and serve. 

 

Notes 

Age: 9+ months, to serve to baby 6+ months leave the mango in bigger shapes so your baby can pick them up to eat. 

Yield: 2-3 small portions

Storage: you can store this recipe in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Stage 3 Puree: for a smooth puree, you can blitz this in a blender or food processor for a few seconds to get a chunky puree. 

Note on Liquid: for babies under a year, you can use all water or a mix of half milk and half water. For toddlers, you can use regular or any plant-based milk you prefer.
