Notes
Age: 9+ months, to serve to baby 6+ months leave the ingredients in bigger shapes so your baby can pick them up to eat.
Yield: 8 small portions
Storage: you can store this recipe in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Stage 3 Puree: for a smoother puree, you can blitz this in a blender or food processor for a few seconds to get a chunky puree.
Note on Liquid: for babies under a year, you can use all water or a mix of half milk and half water. For toddlers, you can use regular or any plant-based milk you prefer.
Oat Suggestions: if quinoa is a new food for your little one, you can mix 1/2 cup of quinoa and 1/2 cup of rolled (old-fashioned) oats into this recipe for a more oatmeal-like texture (this is how my kids prefer this recipe).
